  1. Hey B, it’s my first time on your blog… love it. Unfortunately after reading your “Past Tense” post I tried to click on another but it is blocked at my school… profanity?!?! You?? Must be a bug in our school’s filter system :-) Anyway I still enjoy your writing after all these years (and I still have a copy of your Palau article). Great to see you are doing so well!!

    • Blocked!? WTF :) Glad you found the site, even though you’ll have to read it at home apparently. Maybe it’s a way to keep you from shirking your duties (kidding). They probably block all blogs!

  3. I saw your post on Alan Tonelson.

    He is my boss.

Perhaps you’d find my new book Free Trade Doesn’t Work interesting?

    • I’ll check it out– the description sounds interesting. I may be a New Trade Theory convert yet. Paul Krugman is good company to be in. Plus, I’m embarking on a new book, and this might come in handy.

        Hi Barbara,

My name is Eric Sepulveda and I am a writer for the Daily Barometer. I read the study that you and Richard Settersten did on delaying the path to adulthood that we see today and I wanted to know if it would be possible for me to talk to you over the phone or email about it and your views on this trend to get some more insight for the students on campus.

Please email me at shairoh@gmail.com or call me at 915-920-6985 at your earliest convenience. I look forward to your reply.
